Parlez-vous français?

The new OPI French collection is out and up for grabs.

Have now tested most of it and am in love. Have not spent so much time picking between two beigy greys since gap khakis where all the rage.

Absolute Favs are the mauvy lilac Parlez-Vous OPI? and the grey brown You Don't Know Jacques!

Kisses, now go get those manis.

Prise 3: I'm taking this blog hostage.

Only In New York does 7 weeks go by so fast.

I am now at Nylon in the Photo Department and loving it. Thomas is now this busy busy editor in chief of Nightlife magazine, and creative director of somethingruther at Newad while he is in school. We are busy, but still in love.

That is the update, now to the important things: I have been sent to the childrens department for jeans. Quelle decouverte. Screw Petites, forget about juniors. Kiddies have the same designer basic slim or skinny leg jeans for half of the price...little known fact.

It is insanely intimidating to stroll into a section of bloomies that has clothing my fist could wear. That and my biological clock sounds the alarms when I walk through anything child oriented... lets just say its not like boutique shopping in Nolita.
Now, for the jeans, some run big enough to be worth a shot. Seven for all Mankind and J Brand for example. Once you get over the shock of the environment and the idea that you are so shapeless and petite that you can shop like a child, the price tag makes it all so very worth it.

kisses and shop away my little ones. shop away.

So we took a little time off

And now I'm off.
The blonder half of the Seasonals has up and left Montreal for New York.
We are back. For real. And, of course, we are still in love.

Pick up the latest issue of Montreal's SNAP! Magazine.
In addition to checking out the lightbox spread I shot with 24 karrots kids Vanda and Dan, take a look at us dipping our toes in the modeling pool with some other Montreal four eyes for local photographer Maude Tremblay.

PS Am staying walking distance from Marc by Marc Jacobs. Danger. Danger.

Our Future Look: Hopefully

I was back from NYC this morning at 7, more determined then ever to sport the laid-back version of the classic All-American look. Underneath's latest post epitomized this desire.

Model Thierry Pepin was born in Montreal, by the way. Sweet.
Pictures by Dean Isidro.

May

We're always down for a bliss of boyish masculinity, especially when it comes from photographer Joseph Bleu. Watch this.

Holy Kate

Kate Moss is PERFECT in the latest Paris Vogue. Picked it up yesterday out of sheer boredom and found a little slice of heavan. We are officially obsessed. Her Yves Saint Laurent ad is even on the back cover.

Speaking of which, Stefano Pilati hit the nail right on the head with this one. Amazing. One of our favorite S-S 08 Campaigns.
Here are a few favs.

The hair, the daisy dukes, THE BOOTS... Ok, so am obsessed with a spread that is similar to personal style, but what are you gonna do?

Fur

It'd be fun to pretend for a second someone in London copied my fur inspiration from the picture of me and my friend Olivier posted two weeks ago on The Commodified. But I guess not... no, she didn't, because I wasn't that original myself. She's cute, though.

Mr Schuman

Some might say it's old news, but The Sartorialist himself, Scott Schuman, is interviewed in the current issue of Fantastic Man. We did put our hands on this very special issue a few weeks ago (yes the one with Ford on the cover), but we're still in awe after reading the interview a few times. Among other topics, Schuman discusses his confusing upbringing as a chic prepster in not so tailor-savvy Indiana (the guy was so much into fashion he purchased Collezioni by mail - that may explain part of his his iconic good looks). Role model.

Lykke Li

We never look for music, we just sumble upon soundtracks to our life.

Just stumbled upon Lykke Li on german blog Lynn & Horst. This swede darling is playing in town this week, with El Perro del Mar.

Enjoy. The song is called I'm Good, I'm Gone.

Accoustic version, with Robyn.

Little Bit.

Show me love

Swedish pop phenomenon Robyn was in town last night...Oh so pop.

Having COMPLETELY forgotten about her since high school, it was wonderful follow up to the last live show I'd been to, ahem, the Spice Girls reunion show. And someone woke up with a wannabe stamp on their arm...

No all we need is for All Saints to make a come back.
